Springfield’s Paper Tells of Henry Brown, Upcoming Book Signing

When you walk into the Plaza at the entrance of the Abraham Lincoln Museum, you will see a log cabin to your left, while straight ahead is a replica of the south portico of the White House–two very different homes for our sixteenth president. Standing in the middle of the rotunda are five life-like wax figures of Abe Lincoln and his family in 1861. It is a stunning entryway to the nineteenth-century life of perhaps our greatest president.
The Lincoln Museum is one of my favorite museums–a must-see for anyone traveling through central Illinois. So I am greatly honored to be doing a book signing for The Disappearing Man in the museum store on Saturday, March 19, from noon until 2 p.m. Springfield’s State Journal-Register has run a nice article on my book and the event.
